Gran Turismo 5

the gamestop by my shop got the preview of GT5 with some serious cars and 5 tracks, layout is identical to the PSP GT and the graphics are sick. they also have a drift trial but its not available on this preview. I asked them where I could get a copy of that preview but they told me the Playstation guy just showed up, installed it and left. I will get more info when I go to lunch.
 
ok, I went back anfd played it.
the game is insane!!!!

I picked the new mercedes benz with the gulwing doors and I was able to drift most corners in the tokyo r246 track.

for those who love to drift in GT3 set the steering assist to strong and it feels like GT3 only better. the is a mild and off for this setting but when its turned off it feels like GT4 all over again. the refresh rate was awesome and the physics were the best I played yet, I even got a reverse entry... it was more of a spin but the game let me I pull through.

I spent my 1 hour lunch break playing this game and it was worth it. cant wait to play it on the second.

btw the Game Stop in the plantation square wich is the one I go to said if there is more than 5 people interested that the would do a midnight release and will request more copies. so if you guys are interested lmk I tell them to do it.
 
very much looking foward to gt5, sucks it got put back again. i got my ps3 2+ years ago just for final fantasy 13 and gt5 finaly after 1+year ff13 came out and now after gt5 comes out my $450 investment will be worth it lol
 
the demo has been awesome so far [day-to-night transition ftw], the game better be the greatest shit ever..

I like how GT5 looks and the weather effects along with the day to night transitioning.

But the gameplay disappoints me. For example, I played the demo and was driving the Mine's R34 and it damn sure didn't sound like an RB....it didn't sound like anything actually, just crap. And the driving physics aren't exactly there either. Plus they have a couple physics bugs here and there.

But this was all just what I got from prologue, hopefully all this is fixed in the full game.

bro prologue is a few years old already, go play the new demo at gamestop, and play with the settings.
I like it a lot and it looks like its gonna be even more fun with the steering wheel.

also buy.com has a release date of 11/30/10. not sure if that will be correct.
