Guy bought car off me 5 months ago and didnt pick it up STILL! What to do?

I think you can contact paypal and they can look up transaction made from the past. Was the car sold on ebay? Also do you have a legal bill of sale that both you and him have signed agreeing that you sold the car to him at such date? Any documentation you have from since the transaction was made will help you.

Is there a reason why you havent sent him a title? If you did and its still in your name request for a new title now! Document everything you do now regarding contacting him or sending him emails and letters. This will prove you have tried to contact him and he has not replied. Then send him the certified letter stating that he has X amount of days to get the car. Honestly I would give him 30 days. Even though he has neglected to pick up the car. It shows proof that you have given him a good amount of time to reply to the certified letter. This shows you have had good cause and have done what you have in your power to get the car to him and given him sufficient time.

After you have given him the time and dont hear a reply do as you please with the car. If you want talk to the DMV about the matter. They may have some knowledge of the situation. Dont have it towed anywhere. If the title is still in your name they will contact you and try to stick you with a bill or keep the car.

Yea the title is still in my name. I didnt send him the title because I was going to give it to the people who pick up the car. Car wasnt on ebay, he bought it off a forum from me. The only thing showing he payed anything is paypal, beyond that we have nothing. Thanks.
