About Hellafunctional
So many people are obsessed with having “hellaflush” or “aggressive” or “wrong “wheel fitment. I just don’t get why you’d want a silly looking car with the wheels sticking out. It bugs me. A lot. So much that I’ve started this site to showcase cars that value performance and function.

that shits hellaflush, and the pic is from the hellafunctional site. i don't think it really is two ideas, i think people are close minded to anything but what's right in front of them. if you think wide wheels, low offsets, and lowering your car is different than time attack, you need to think again. i don't understand why people want everyone to have the same kind of car, it's just a different facet of the sport we all love, from muscle cars, to rice mobiles. and if you are gonna start your own website, why not base it on a new idea, not some negative shit.

i really think what hes trying to get at is thats its a site for those who actually drive there cars. like those who have coilovers and low offset wheels but actually track there car. not just park it and call it a day. not bashing this was posted to see what others thought

it's just kinda whack when our culture has become one so entrenched in hating on other peoples ideas, that you would start a website just to oppose something, when will honda guys start driftingisforlosers.com or we can start a ffisretarded.com. i think one of the things that's cool about sites like hellaflush and speedhunters is they bring multiple car cultures together, it's sad we can't get along.

i dont think its hating...be honest..there are some cars out there with some wheel set ups that are just for "looks". -17 degrees of camber is not a Performance mod. the reason i mentioned it being "two ideas" is because yeah, some cars look insanely beautiful with "hellaflush" setups. but you cant got and "Time Attack" with that same set up. its no where near practical...btw that evo is NOT hellaflush.... to be "hellaflush" you gotta run smaller tires to get a stretch to make them fit...how is that anywhere near benificial for time attack setups where you need maximum tire contact patch to corner properly.

at the end of the day i think.
"HellaFlush" is for looks - nothing wrong with that.
"HellaFunctional" is for actual track use - def nothing wrong with that.

What i dont get is hellaflush can be perfectly functional.

It doesn't require tire stretch to be hella flush, they don't like wheels that mexipoke..

If you have a good fitting tire say 245/45/17 on a 17x9 and it sits almost even with the tire, its still hella flush and functional as fuck..

But shit what do I know =\

Hellaflush is so gay....

They could give a shit if its fast or not.

you don't think this is hating?

"So many people are obsessed with having “hellaflush” or “aggressive” or “wrong “wheel fitment. I just don’t get why you’d want a silly looking car with the wheels sticking out. It bugs me. A lot."

thats from the "about hellafunctional" page!
i'm not saying alot of neg camber is a performance mod, but thats more of a vip thing anyway. most of the cars on the hellaflush site have alot of performance mods, in fact the site often showcases time attack cars, thats what i'm getting at. this guy didn't spend the time to read the site, he heard someone say hellaflush, in reference to a vip styled car, and caught feelings. and if you think it's a fad, once again you haven't listened, they are very clear on the site that they didn't invent the idea, they say that the flush fitment thing has been popular in motorsport, particularly drifting and time attack. so for someone in either of those sports to miss the point, they are apparently "hating".

one of the cars on the front page right now, a car owned by hellaflush, is a s14 with a titan motor, and theres pics of it drifting! it gets more functional than that?
