**HELP**1989 coupe tail light MADNESS !

I own an S13 coupe. Im so tired of getting tickets for my tail lights, so now I must fix this damn problem.

ok check it out....

-When I have my head lights on, my tail lights are on city mode. (just lit, but not bright) and my brake lights dont work at all.

-When the sun sets, and I turn on my headlights, my tail lights completly shut off. (absolutely no light at all) so I drive around with my hazards. < sucks balls.

ok, so its not the bulbs...they are fine. Does anyone know of any wiring problems common to s13 coupe's tail lights? or any advice? tickets are getting expensive!



oh....and its not the little thingy under the brake sensor...that when breaks, tail lights wont turn off.
 
I had problems with my taillights also but the dumbass who had the car before me had wrong fuses in wrong places check your fuses
 
I have a similar problem...I have an 89 Hatch and when the headlights are off the radio works fine, when the headlights are on the radio doesnt work, then when the high beams are on the radio works but the tails dont work anymore. Right now its pretty nice because if I have to run from the heat then I can just flip the beams on and no rear lights at all.....but I miss my radio at night:confused:

go to the junkyard, find a coupe and pull the thing that holds the bulbs. my buddy had a similar problem and when we did that it fixed alot of stuff for him
