Help! car wont start!

so i used to turn da key and open the ignition and i would hear the fuel pump working, and today i go to crank it and the fuel pump wasn't making any noise and the car dont start. yesterday i drove the car but it took some time to crank and it bogged a lil. its a walbro pump btw. SO MY QUESTION IS, DID THE PUMP TAKE A DUMP??

if u didn't hear the pump prime (make noise when u turn the ignition) it probly took a dump..but check ur fuses and relays...also the connections to the pump
 
yea it probably took a dump, the one on my last car just died for no reason,
if u need any help gimme a call
 
ok heres the prob, i took out the pump and connected positive and negative to the battery and it works fine and i used a test light to see if its getting power. so it works fine when i touch the cables on my batt, but when i open the ignition its like the pump isnt getting a signal to start working. i also checked the fuse and it's fine. help!

you fucked up the cable sumwere bro.
look at the color of the cable. and follow it all the way to the front by the fuses, test it there, if u have power, there then u know from point a to b is fucked so just change the whole wire, if u still dont have any check the cable coming from the fuse and to the fuse and just trace it till you find where it shorted or broke.
 
when u tested the pump did u put in in gas n see if it pumps,
cuz when mine went bad, it would make noise like it was pumping but when we put it in gas, there was nothing going through

ima change the relay then and see whats up.

so i fixed the fuel pump problem by jumping the relay (thanks to vince) but now the car still dont want to start up. WTF!!! im gonna check for spark.
 
here is where i stand.

-no power to ECU.
-no back up power to ECU.

i checked almost everything i would beleive it could be but still no luck, really shitty timing for my car to start acting up too.

Did a lot of research for this problem, I found this link and took out my ECU but it looks perfect inside.
