Help! No Run

So frustrated, 89 240. Stock Ka, was just driving when i started to hear a wierd noise from front engine bay. A clunky noise, than the car died. Now it wont run, i can crank it and it runs if i give it gas (still making that awfull clunky noise) but as so as rpm drop it dies! I was thinking maybe oil pump??? I dont know please help!!!
 
you think its the oil pump because you hear a clunking noise? it sounds like its most likely a very serious internal engine failure. get someone to check around the engine bay while someone gives it gas. gl
 
k i will. yea i sat in front while someone gave gas, its smoking out bottom too. ill get a video as soon as possible. im gonna hopefully take off vavle cover and oil pan tommarow.

its at the very front of the motor

it wouldnt start at all with no timing chain. i destroyed the crank bearings cause i starved the motor of oil and it did a very similar thing. it could start but it was like it was under a very heavy load and if i let of the throttle it would die.
 
Shit i dont have a camera available. Let me try to explain it a little better, if not im outta luck lol. I was driving home and while i was driving it started making a clacking noise like just clunking around from my engine bay.i get to a stop light and it drops to idle it dies. So i pull over, try to start it. It tries to, sparks but just wont turn over. And the whle time you hear that clunking noise. So im sure it isnt TC. This Blows so bad i just want to DRIVE

OH and BTW its coming from the front end of the motor, nose of the car.

thats still a bit to vague to really give us anything to go off of. a clunking noise from the front of the engine isnt enough, but i does sound like it could be blown as others have said. your best bet is to get a mechanic friend to stop by and check it out.
