so i finally fixed my car, de i was having issues with, its been running great for over a month, not an issue, took it to orlando last week and it ran perfect. my dad needed a car to go to advance so he took mine, ran fine, bought shit, came out and it wont start. it cranks all day, has fuel, dont know if injectors are spraying, has spark to distributor, dont know if spark plugs are firing, but its sitting at advance any quick suggestions without completely going through labor of taking large parts are appreciated

Check voltage on injectors, pull spark plug out and see if it's sparking (leave wire connected and ground plug to something).

Try To Push Start It

well what would push starting bypass to start if its cranking?

Check voltage on injectors, pull spark plug out and see if it's sparking (leave wire connected and ground plug to something).

yea i was going to do those both but i had no tools with me at the time just my hands, im going to check injector pulse and spark at the plugs, but those SEEMED to be there... anything else i can check?

No way to know unless you check it. You got compression (we think at least, who knows, do compression test if you can), all really left is spark and fuel. Check those and go from there.

WTF FUSE CAN BLOW THAT WILL LET IT CRANK AND NOT START IF ITS GETTING FUEL???:laugh::laugh:

no where did he say he was for sure getting fuel to the injectors. so far we know nothing for sure. i dont know about his car but my cars ecu is powered through a fused link. when it was blown i could crank it but it wouldnt start. check those fuses if you already havent tee.

thank you sir ...he never said he was getting any fuel

thanks for the help guys, its at advance not discount but im gonna tow it as soon as possible. i was going to check injector pulse, that would tell me if there was power to the ecu. it is definitely getting fuel TO the injectors, i just dont know if the injectors are spraying. ill keep you guys updated

ok i was pulling it, i tried starting it while it was moving and finally after about ten tries it started, and now it starts right up. i guess aero k was right, not sure what is going on but appreciate all the help

The diaphram in the fuel pressure regulator might have a small pin hole in it causing it to not build fuel pressure at the injectors and not start after being ran hard. When it sits the fuel eventually evaporates back and causes the hole to magically shrink again and build pressure to start. If you have a spare FPR, try swaping them out if it happens again.

I know its a long shot, but this is a known problem with Nissans

nismo aftermarket fpr brand new, i doubt it would, and i dont run i thard at all during the day, it just shut off, and it would leak, but thanks for the heads up ill keep it in mind if it persists
