help with catylitic ?

i used a screw driver hammer lol , and a drill with a bit on it it was a bitch though, i should have just cut it open and removed the shit, then welded it back up ,, i say remove it completely theres no law against that
 
i bought some headers and in exhuast and theres a gap between the headers and the exhuast...gap for a catylitic i was gonna just weld a straight pipe but first of all the headers are like 2 inches something big and the exhuast is like 3 inches so i would have to install a pipe thats 2 on one side and 3 on the other. also i would like it also if it were easier to remove the headers if ever needed.i can't do it if it's all welded together. some one help pleae!

i have an idea of what im gonna do but i just want some input before i do it...myabe some ones idea might be better than mines

just use a long pry bar or metal bar and stick it in the cat. then use a big hammer and knock out the shit in side its really not that hard to do, but the empty cat will act like a resonator and make your exhaust sound like shit, jus bring your car to a muffler shop and tell them to make a bolt in test pipe they will do it around $50, thats the best way togo
