Hialeah speedway gone?

hey i've been hearing 4rm alot of ppl that hialeah speedway was closing. does anyone kno if this is tru? if it is it might be good ;)
 
Hialeah Speedway is Closed. It will be a few months before it is torn down though. There still might be a few private events there in the mean time.

the Mazda ZoomZoomLive event is at Hialeah Raceway(The Horse racing track) Not Hialeah Speedway.
 
wah imma miss that track!!! it sucks that they closed it...but oh well life goes on!
 
How Could We Hold Another Event There? What Kind Of Insurance Did Ter Tech Use To Be Able To Rent That ****. Is It Just Shp Insurance Or What. Cuz My Pops Hase That ****. Lemme Know
 
the zoom zoom event is at hialeah park not the speedway.. hialeah speedway track was kind of gay everyone made a big deal of the big turn... track had barely anything good except the infield unless it was raining then even that sucked cuz it got flooded in the middle
 
Hialeah was a great track for anyone to learn. There is a wall there, obviously, but a driver should bear in mind that he's taking a risk. Nothing is 100% safe. You could hold another 100 events in Hialeah Speedway and I would go to every single one of them.

Plus, I've said it once and I'll keep repeating myself.... if you can slide Hialeah Speedway completely, then you can slide anywhere else.
 
all the walls did was make pepole try harder not to hit them. if you can slide in a really narrow space then you will improve much more than in an empty parking lot. i miss it too bad.
 
you know thats funny cause when i slide there i never once gave a thought about the wall

maybe im just crazy
 
yeah, it was nice over there. now when i finally get my 93 240sx i got no place to slide around. i've passed by the track the other day and its still just sitting there. wonder if i can sneak in... do a slide-by.

how much do you think it would cost to but the whole damn thing and redo it? it would probably cost a friggin nut huh. it would be cool though just to have an open practice every day of the week. have some where to slide leagal without having to pay a $100 every time. like how they were having practices when they first started for $50 and then they started to rape every one fot the $100. i always thought that wuz pretty ****ed up.
