ok, well looks like they want driftin at every FARA event. So i have made a list of dates for 2009. So everyone has time to prepare or plan. These are good events to network, there are always big name sponsors out there. Also you dont have to make all of them, just lemme know the dates you would be able to attend.Do to some meetings i have had with FARA and also looking over the demos from 2008. I feel it is nessisary to explain the qualifications. Also, the things I look for. Inorder to approve someone to drive Homestead
UPDATE!
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE TRYING TO BE APPROVED FOR HOMESTEAD!
The Homestead demos are just that, "Demos". What i mean by that is, this is not a time for drivers to practice, its a show. That being said please understand if i dont give you the ok to slide Homestead that doesn't mean i think you are not a skilled driver. Just that either i see inconsistantance in your driving, lack of recent seat time, or you are just not ready yet. Just cause you can connect countyline or have even tandemed at countyline, dose NOT make you eligible for the DEMO. Bottom line, i dont just use countyline to gauge your skills to see if your qualified or not. Like i said this is not for you to go and try it. You either are ready for tandem, by having a cage/ pro am license, or skilled enofe, and have enofe power to make it back up the hill (there are some exception, ie White Warren G)/SIZE]
So for the next couple of countyline events along with some other events. Afew others, and I will be scouting for drivers for the demos. I will be sendin invites as soon as I have disided on your eligibility for the Demos. So, for now on if you have not recieved an invite from me, AND ONLY ME! You are not approved. Sorry please dont take it personal. I believe i have proved myself enofe, that everyone should know I do my best to get drivers as much seat time as possible and try to go out of my way to help drivers out. The Sfl drivers have been a big part of my life the last couple of years. I look forward to the day when i can have sick 3 car tandems and 20 cars to rip homestead up, but until then i have to be as strict as possible to get the best drivers for the demo.
What we looking for?
Well what we are lookin for is
1. consistancy
2. How often you dirt drop (can not be dirt dropping at Homestead!)
3. If your car is ready
4. Power, or the skill to make up for the lack of power
5. Seat time

Lemme also point out FARA is going to be pushing really hard this year to bring new sponsors and better media to there events. So this could be a good time for some PR. There is alot of money at these events, so if you make it out try to take advantage.
Also if i haven't replied to your request yet. It is because I am still Debating on my desicion. I will get back to you.

So anyone interested please contact me by phone or P.M. Here are the dates and some basic info. Thanks again guys for makin 2008 one of the busiest years of drifting in Miami!
