are u fucking kidding me theres plenty of people drifting on stock suspension im tired of this pos ka i like to go fast regardless if wen its sidewayz or straight i like having a powerful car thats my taste
and i have the following:
tranny mount
oil filter
oil
coolant
tranny fluid
exhaust
180sx brakes

get a SRT4 if you want power...... Yeah i remember all those guys drifting on stock suspensions most of them ended up into curbs, walls, and all kinds of crap. here is my science bro.

cheap reliable coilover-900
VLSD -190 or welded-50
tc rods - 145

with approximately 1200 bucks you would have a decent suspension set up, thats not adding rucas and bushings. to me spending 1200 bucks on suspension, beats spending 3000 on an engine swap that you dont even know if its going to work. Yeah all these importers will tell you yeah 30k - 45k miles on that SR. what they are not telling you is that this engine came out of a s13 that was ganged raped by a young japenese guy, who spent most of his days bouncing of his rev limiter, until one day he hit a curve and his engine with 30k butt rape miles ended up in your hands. So good luck with your powerful car. Remember this is the internet and i do respect you opinion i am just letting you know what i think. Also Sr's are not that fast, specially if you dont have a decent mechanical knowledge of what you are doing and a deep pocket. :boring:

plz fuck everybody who can dish but cant take it w.e ppl act real hard on the forums but wen a ter-tech evnt comes around not a fukin peep atleast not to my face w.e back to the subject pleasee

believe me sr >stock ka i got a pretty good warrantee and im good friends with moe(jdmofmiami) as for the $1200 i agree but i just happened to choose power first i never planned on having stock suspension hopefully coilovers next month

It sounds like you know absolutely shit about car modding. There IS a difference between sliding around like a tool and drifting. Have fun with your stock suspension, im sure everyone will be impressed with your lame ass power overs and cool Blow Off Valve sound.

You asked what WE thought on how you were doing. We offered you helpful things that you have yet to buy, and you throw a fucking temper tantrum. Nice job acting like a 6yr old man. Take that shit over to sfl240sx.com Then you can impress them with your SR powered s13 on stock suspension. Even then they might give you the same suspension>power theory. I hope you havent spent all your engery on crying like a little girl and still have enough for another tamtrum.

wtf? what opinion i didnt ask to hear people bitch at me for goin power first i asked WHAT ELSE DO I NEED OR SHOULD I BUY TO COMPLETE MY SR SWAP so read your shit motor swap not wat anyone else thinks i need to have a drift car

so you think that only drift cars need suspension  You are a fucking queefeater man.

thats priceless....lol..... but it is true......

any drag car, touge car, drift car etc.. will have different power levels and be tuned different but they all spend most of there time getting the foot work of their car together before they start to run there machines.....its really not hard if your tight on cash get some springs and shocks and atleast some new brake pads....even something like a ebay strut tower bar will help you.....

dont get pissed off by people who tell you these things cause it would suck if after you put your sr in 2 weeks later you go out to play with your car and you come and make a post about how you where playing with the whip and all the mad powwwwaa got the best of your stock suspension and you understeered str8 into oh holy curb..... im sorry but 300 dollars for some springs and shocks and maybe 50 bucks for at least a strut tower bar seems like good insurance that your car at least will be alot more predictable....

Tell you what, I will sell you my shock and spring combo *AGX shocks with Megan springs* They will ride with ANY beginner coilover setup.

$375 shipped or you can come pick them up for $300 in Key West

And if you by KW's suspension, You can buy my welded dif sitting in my bedroom with 6 bolt axels for 50 bucks picked up on the west coast of Florida.

fyi, i welded that diff, it will not break. so beat the shit out of it.

maybe seperate the transmission and inspect the rear main seal. Its alot easier to replace it when its out of the car.

i thought belts and waterpump were a given... dont the engine suppliers usually even tell you to replace that stuff lol

keep your clutch fan.. sure it looks cool with it off but its worth it. and get a nismo thermostat.

replace your high pressure line for the power steering with a new one (60.00 from NAPA Autoparts)

I would probably suggest a greddy oil pan but if your shit isnt banged up a lot than its fine for now but if you start cornering especially with stock suspension you will explode soon lololol its true

yea like ricky said, rear main seal.

the main things i do before putting a motor in

fuel filter, oil filter, belts, water pump, radiator, motor mounts, tranny mount, rear main seal, flywheel resurface/new one, new clutch, new throw out bearing, new pilot bearing, thermostat, new slave cylinder, spark plugs Ngk iridium ftw!, exhaust manifold gaskets, if its a turbo motor, turbo gaskets, downpipe, turbo elbow + gasket, replace the stock lines with EARLS stainless steel turbo oil and water lines, check oil pan, remove it to inspect engine for any crucial damage that may be noticable, and new fuel lines, and hoses everywhere.

so all together preventive maintance cost a couple hundred extra to make sure i have minimal problems unless something goes bad.

sorry dan im still against the whole clutch fan thing i still dont understand y u had so much bad luck with electric fans but 95% of people do well with electric ones but i guess its up to the owner everyone has their own preferences

At the next ter tech even i will go to your face (nismojdm3000) what ever your name is and i will give you a kiss and a hug. Next time dont get so damn pist off, when you ask for opinions. Remember eveybody has their own...

lol my name is mike and ill do fine with out a kiss and a hug a handshake will do u over opinionated motherfuckers!lol i hate having to argue on here it takes forever and in the end it means nothing so w.e just got the exhaust mani gasket and intercooler and bov arrived today

plus it teaches you how to be a lot more aggressive than coming into the turn slower and just stomping the gas to power out with ghey after apex drifts

i love that sentence...

right now my car has about 300whp and shocks and springs, welded diff. my friend has bonestock ka+coilovers and open diff. i slide his car better than i can slide my own. wtf does that tell you?

i heard from several good sources that electric fans have a tendancy to overheat. never heard of any complaints about clutch fans. mine has been missing the shroud for over a year and the bitch barely clears the cold mark.
