Looks like a couple people who were willing to help me are not going to be able to and the others cant do it till couple of weeks from now. Can anyone else provide help for this any sooner?

I can look at it on sunday juan, sorry for not calling you back my phone flaking out ever since i ran it over. Tomorrow afternoon possibly if you can bring it over here.

For those of you who were having this same issue and were waiting for my outcome to help resolve this, here is the latest. This afternoon I was finally able to locate the exact origin of the leak. It is definetely a crack in the tank (about an inch long). It is located on the passenger side where the strap hooks to the body of the car with the pin. I was able to notice this by following some good advise from Alibaba who had the exact same crack in the same spot. No major science (LOL!) Pretty much he told me to clean throughly the area with brake cleaner. This definetly exposed clearly the crack which I was not able to see before. I can actually stick a very thin blade through it. Looks like that spot fatigues around this age of the car and starts cracking. Well, there you go. New tank to be installed next weekend. Thank you all for your help.

i got my shit fixed
i put in the new tank yesterday and it is a real pain in the ass to do it by urself, its possible but a pain in the ass, i was working by myself yesterday and it took about 4 hours to put back together but no more leak so it was worth it

Good $#!tt dude! I just received the tank and bushings come in tomorrow. I just have one little problem. I lost one of the pins that hold the fuel tank straps. Anyone out there has it? Nissan has it for only three bucks but with 5 day shipping and I really want to get it over with this weekend. Do you anyone who can hook it up?

At U-Pull-and-Pay here in Orlando, they move cars using a forklift. They get dragged and shit in the dirt so the bottom of a lot the cars are all scraped up. When I pulled a clean tank from an S13, it had all these rock chip sized holes in it. I used some epoxy to fill in the holes and covered them up with JB quick weld. Its kinda ghetto but it doesnt leak for shit.

JB Weld is your friend if you cant afford new parts :p

$20 tank + $10 in JB > $300 new gas tank

Tank is finally replaced along with subframe bushings. Thank you everyone who helped me with this. Lots of help from SFLDrifetrs.com! Mods, go ahead and lock.
