I love my D2's and i spent about 500 dollars less and I cant complain. Rides just like coilovers should.

guys i know coilovers are the better solution but im a 16 year old who works at publix and goes to a technical school. so i do know that coilovers are a better solution but like i said I WORK AT PUBLIX!!! i make 7.50 an hour and get like 12 hours max a week. so since i dont have the kind of money to invest in coilovers would a spring swap help at all

I bought my first coilovers when I was 16...I got my Stance...im only 18 buddy, still in highschool on my second set of coilovers. You just need to put a certain amount of money off to the side every paycheck and DO NOT TOUCH IT for any reason, soon enough you will have your coilovers.

+1 i got my first set at 17 working at a brick company for 7.50 an hour... i still go to skool... pay my insurace..gas..ect. and i still manage to buy things for my car..no excuses! save and buy!

either that or their just good..

Yea, you really can't go wrong with any of the choices. They will all work. Blake Fuller runs D2 Coilovers on his 350z and he is one of the top 3 drivers in the Nopi Drift Series. SO just pick what you can afford and learn off it and eventually if you need to, upgrade. Spinrgs and shocks are a waste imo, you only need to spend a few hundred more and get coilovers so just save. And while you save, learn and get better with just stock suspension.

let me see. it took over about a year for me just to get enough to buy this s13. my paychecks are about 20-60 a week and usually lean towards the smaller size. my insurance is not going to be a problem. i just need something affordable and functional

Save like said before. And learn to drive while you save. Nothing you can do. If you wan't a nicely setup car, you cannot take shortcuts to your goal.

Well if you can, goto a junkyard and yank some struts just so it drives alright right now. Yea it's a awesome thing to have and I can understand your eagerness. In order for me to pay for coils I ended up selling my laptop, tv, xbox, tires, interior peices etc on eBay. just to get coilovers. But once you get them it's all worth the wait.

yea i got tires and subs for sale but seems like no body wants to buy. i gonna try to go to the junkyard tomorrow off of southern by sfl fairgrounds. hopefully i find some nice coilovers there in good shape and sneak them out. lol

Yea go there. I'm pretty sure those two junkyards (ABC and U-pull it) have 240sx's at least last time I checked. Try to setup an eBay account, from my experience, theres always someone on there that want's your old crap. Ive seen shit like used Gumby toothbrushes for sale and people bidding on it.

yea but you need a credit card for ebay.

Nope. I dont have one. All you need is a bank account number and your set. And if you don't have a bank account just go get one, it's free. And then when stuff sells you can have it go straight to your bank account.
