idle air control

idle air control valve operates throught the computer, your idle flucutaes with other factors, engine temp, outside air temp coolant tem, and ect. the most important factor is ac. when ac is on idle needs to be raised this is done by the iac valve. computer senses this and idle is raised with out iac w/ac the car might stall out, and or run abnormal idle.

i dont know i figure this ive had alot of things go wrong with my car and i want to take out all the things that i dont need and might go bad.... its not about making my car lighter or anything but for example the wiring in my car is a mess and had a few problems so i reran my headlights and running lights also my dash lights went out so i ran some leds to it..... simple fixes until i get money for a new wiring harness for my car.....

im thinking its not.... i have to recheck my timing and a few other loose ends because my idle is really messed up..... it will drop to about 500 then rise up to 1200 and then at some point settle at about 900..... also when i clutch in the revs drop to 500 but it feels like it wants to stall... it has stalled but only a couple times....

yea i prob will just tring to get some backround in it......thanks for the help guys......

Well just take it off and clean it out. It's cheap. All you have to buy is brake cleaner. Also check if the motor is working. You might just need a new IACV.
