Shouldnt be too expensive since it really is a matter of takingout the piece of shit thats in there and dropping in the other...
 
A good KA (less than 100K miles) will run you back at least $500. They're not as cheap as they once were, they're not as common as they once were either. When I was in the market for a KA, a local shop here wanted to sell me a POS one for $350. I went to check it out and turns out it had bad compression. I spent a month searching, I finally found a good one with 80K from a NICOCLUB member in Malabar. You have to be patient if you really want to find a good engine, if not you're gonna end up with a POS. Try to borrow someones car in the meantime, if you can. Me and my girl used one car while I was searching.
 
i got a rebuilt ka with 13k miles on it,tranny,manifolds and everything for 600

you can find a long block pretty cheap
