The biggest question I have is how much should I cut out the the existing quarter panels so my I won't have to worry about about tires hitting anything. If anyone has build pics or a thread with pics that would be awseome. Thanks.
 
most people go pretty high up to assure the clearance...........also be careful when puttin them on not to make the fenders get wavy.....
 
Example from my car after I cut and welded it. Just hammer the wheel well edge up to the body edge and put a little weld. Start at one end and work your way to the other. Cut excess wheel well as needed.

Edit: That's not one solid weld. It's like a bunch of inch long welds about an inch or so apart. Do that after everything is tacked.
