intake mani? for RB's

u have to buy the one for the rb20! rb20/25 are the same for both exhasut and intake! rb26 is diffrent from everything eles! i hope u know with that intake and a pretty stock motor u will lose bottem end hp, and torque! maybe see like a 50hp increase around your redline! go stock or unless u hate the cross over head stock manifold atleast go with the gready!

the only one that truely works is the RIPS manifold...they are somewhat expensive like 900.00 bones but they are well worth it...its actually a custom manifold using part of the original manifold (flange) and a custom enclosure. the nice thing is they have velocity stacks for each runner which is very nice!! they also can put any flange you want on there for the throttle body of your choice..place is in New Zealand here is the website.... http://www.ripsltd.co.nz/performance/

i dont plan on the motor staying stock. and i hate that cross over thing too.

thats a pretty nice looking mani that they make there. i will look more into that. thanks for that link

Just figure spending 2-4k for a turbo upgrade to match that intake....I like having a smooth power band ( why I didn't go sr ). You should buy a gt3076. Smooth powerband and about 350-420 hp I think. Nice big intercooler, q45 throttlebody, turbo manifold, rom chip...Thats what I'm going to do later on. :bigthumbu
Not to thread jack...But devil man here also wants to rev high with this motor... Since I wouldn't know...Does he have to do any customization for oiling. On the r32 rb26dett your supposed to use some sort of oil restrictor or something...I believe drftnR14 was talking about it... :bigthumbu

umm yeah i would like to rev hard on this motor. i was planing on just getting a new oil pump. but yeah.....i would like to know. so rb what are you going to do for an intake mani? something like that or what?

I'm keeping the motor stock...I kinda want to keep my rb reliable for as long as possible. I just wanto start modding my car after I finish my motor. Lsd, suspension, rims...Then later on who knows...I really like s14's. I might buy a zenki and build another ka-t, it's cheaper to build a ka-t then build an rb20. I wanted the rb20 to be quick but reliable. :bigthumbu
