:( i was driving home on the 836 and i slid into a wall
no body damage at all surprisingly
the rims took a beating
i think i bent the frame tho
i dont know how bad.
think i should take it to a frame shop
or just sell it and start over

How can you bend the frame with no body damage ??

Edit: Actually... how can you slide into a wall and have no body damage?

i dont know.
i cant believe theres no damage, i got out of the car expecting a lot of it
if i turn the wheel straight the front right wheel is straight and the left looks like its still turned
the same with the back left wheel. but not as bad as the front.

pictures would help and there is no way to have frame damage with out body damage. you might have suspension parts that may need to be replaced...it still hard to believe that you hit a wall and there is no damage...l

ok well having worked in a body shop for a long ass time itz very hard for you to bend the actual frame without doin some body damage. because a frame is very hard and takes a hell of an impact to bend it in anyway. post pictures if u can

ill take some pics when i get home.
im so glad that its most likely not frame damage.
thanks everyone

ummm, put the car up on 4 jackstands, look under the car and see what appears to be bent. Check tie rods, TC rods and their brackets. Check the multi link in the rear. Check to see if the rack n pinion has shifted off to the side.

was the wall a k-rail? the bottom is built out more then the side of where the body would have hit? So only the wheels hit the bottom part keeping the body off of it?

I say fix it. How fast were you going? Can you see if the rear subframe has shifted.

probably only bent stuff that can be replaced.

hehe if this wasnt a drift forum i would think you had a saturn, because i used to have one, an i beat the hell out of that car tryin to Ebrake drift it. i jumped curbs slamed into walls an all kinds of stuff and all that car had to show for it was a small scuff mark...my homie used to call it rubbermaid...lol...but there was never any significant damage .just had to hammer my stealies back into shape.not bad plus they never rust...lol
