is ther a diff in tranny from s13 to s14

ive tried looking the info up but cant find an answer does any1 know if thers a visual difference between a s13 tranny and s14 like how do i know if im geting s14 and not s13 and is there any way to tell if the tranny shot once out of the car??? please sum one answer before i go buy this

no difference they're both Same Tranny same as the SOHC

The s13 and s14 transmissions are inter-changeable. There was a small revision in s14 transmission which added some baffles to keep better gear fluid distribution. Near the top of the bell housing a little bit towards the drivers side when installed around 11 o'clock there should be a place for a crank position sensor that reads the teeth on the flywheel. It really dose not matter whether its an s14 or s13 transmission other then the obvious mileage difference.
