i read this on nico,researching single cam n/a build and came across this
if you were really worried about money you could do things really cheap..
get a ka24e block go to a junk yard or a buddy get a de head only slightly moddifications needed to the fornt cover. then get de pistons right there you are very high compression.. so people say on here i guess you are up in the 13.5.1 some peopel got as much as 14.6.1 and then the exspensive part is a greddy e management.
go to A motor cycle junk yard and a get a gsx-r 1000 ITBS i believe those are pretty good for a good n/a build cut up yur old intake mani lowes has rubber hose and clamps i thinks its about maybe 45 bux for all the hose and clamps.
thats not really much money you would need maybe bigger valves 3 angle valve job q45 MAFS 450cc dsm injectors. and 10mm spark plug wires with some ngk spark plug or something good.
and a good port and polish and im sure you would be making over 200hp
