Went welded and rear locked up consistently

Weldeds don't have a choice whether to lock or not... Lmao

OP, be a man and buy my KAAZ 2-way, look at my thread post history to find the ad. I slide my Z on the stock diff(same as J30) with absolutely no problem.

If you Daily the car Drive fast in the rain and dont wanna put alot of stress on your tranny then go J30.

If its just a drift car then welded.
stress on your tranny, and rain terrors.... what.... lol, if you dont drive like an asshat and you cant handle your car then dont stay on this forum... tranny stress, bro he isnt looking to bomb a tranny with 600hp you dumbass...

ya how come almost everyone that has a welded starts to say it gay and goes back to a VLSD?
ya i dont slide now cause i have better crap to do
name one person on here besides the tim in his e30 that couldnt stand the welded and went to a j30... preferably a 240 guy....

ps tim didnt go j30, he used a bimer lsd.... just saying....

are those there daily cars?
unfortunately almost all the countyline cars are....

VLSD 6 bolt (if your lucky to find one in the yard) is like $30-40.
like they he said option and prefer.

Welded put alot of stress on the tranny and you can rock different size tires or its just going to fuck everything up and you cant be booking 70mph down 95 in the rain with a welded either.

J30 sucks after you drift it alot cause the Viscous gets hot and the diff no longer works.

So yes J30 sucks as a drift diff if you plan on doing a event all day for a long time but its better if you daily the car more then you drift it.

Welded is great for a drift car and not so great to daily is what i say.
have you driven a welded? and why would you run different tire sizes?......to the OP dont listen to clem 48, he is some guy who has better crap to do yet still lurks this forum relentlessly and posts nothing but garbage, and never contributes anything relative or helpful to this forum... read the quote below and listen to all the people who actually drive their cars here... thanks!

Don't waste ur time on a j30

this^^^^

AND AT TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, KEEP DECENT TIRES ON YOUR CAR AND YOU WONT EVER HAVE TO WORRY....

rocks to oranges!!! LMAO

Im so glad I started drifting before i ever knew what a forum was. Its amazing, the shit u can figure out on your own.

I don't drive a daily with a welded b/c tires aren't cheap and they're annoying. You can always have both and just swap them on drift days.

Sometimes I drive my truck around in 4 low so it's like I got a front welded diff.
