well my car is still leaking after the massive Downpoor today there was a puddle in the passenger seat the ashtray was full of water i think it ruined my stereo remote and my seat was wet (found out the hard way :( ) i took off the 4'' roof panel lol and the pillars and i think its just leaking on the driver side and making its way to the passenger side via plastic covers although it was slightly leakin on the passenger side too does anyone have any expirience with this in a vert or work at sissan and can tell me how much all the weather strippings are so i can replace em :( i thought i fixed it b4 apperantly not anyone with info would help im goin on Nico now for more info :bigthumbu
 
well before you make you way to Nico i'll give you the bad news!!!! they don't make those weather strips anymore... i have no idea what your going to do but i'm sure you'll think of something...

I know this sounds stupid but are you sure it's the weather stripping? Did you look to see if the holes on top of the pillar arent blocked? They are on some coupes and verts - drainage holes. If there are holes there and you haven't checked them... Go to a (Air pump) put the nozzle up to the hole and blast it about 20 seconds on either side. Some times crap gets in there and causes the water to come back in the car.

well i see no holes anywere but i do see a hue rip on the weather stripping on the driver side i think im gonna fill it with black silicone till i can find a vert at a junk yard or figure something out.......i'll post pics later :bigthumbu

this will definatly be a hazard while driving LOL :bigthumbu yeah it still leaks a little while driving :(
 
Ah... ok, usually if you come up the pillar at the very top where either the door shuts (if not a drop top) or where the seam of the top meets the roof line - there are little holes about the size of a pencil eraser.

Thought I would try, sorry about that.

(driving with the car cover) if enterprise can do it.... lol so can you
