One thing we can all be sure of is that Justin Pawlak ran into and practically over Tyler McQuarrie in Top 32 this weekend putting just about the final nail in the coffin of his championship hopes which looked so promising after three rounds this season. While this confrontation lacked Formula Drift Insider and a gaggle of media outlets like the PBIR one with Daigo Saito we managed to capture some of the conversation with images and then talk to Tyler McQuarrie later about it.

The approach was done just after Tyler got knocked out of the Top 8 and JTP wanted to know why he couldn’t keep drifting after he “tapped” Tyler. Talking to his crew (Mobil 1 / Chevrolet team) just after Top 32 the car was hit so hard they had to pull out the transmission and bang the chassis back into submission by the door where Justin made contact completely bending the chassis by the door.

Tyler took him over to the car and showed him the damage according to Tyler and after a few minutes of back and forth the conversation ended cordially. Apparently no one is safe once they are on track as Justin Pawlak beats himself just like in Palm Beach with Daigo Saito.

The comments on the actual site do kinda point out a seemingly obvious bias against JTP on Wrecked's behalf. Not calling anyone out, but the way that post was written........

just saying.

Geez here we go again. He is a very talented driver that when he keeps quite and soldiers on no matter what happens will become a champion. This seems to be his flaw, he gets too heated or emotional. This may have cost him his championship. . .again.

You guys are dumb. Tyler parked it on Justin on Justin. Mistake or on Purpose doesnt matter.
Justin is fortunate enough to be running one of the best and most well funded cars in the field. When it comes to that, it matters if you move on or not. When Jeremy and I dont make it into top 16 or dont qualify, yeah, it all the way sucks, but we arnt getting the kind of money that Justin is getting to win, so we just move on. Things like what happened to Justin could potentially hurt his partnerships.

Justin, like most, drives with a lot of emotion and puts A LOT of heart into what he does. Him not advancing there, pretty much all but took him out of the championship race.

Take a second and look at it the way he sees it. I can pretty much promise it will change your opinion. Its really easy to sit at home watching live stream and talk shit about the guys out there busting their asses to be the best, but its a lot different when you really are out their busting your ass to be the best.

I understand where he is coming from but still whining about it is not sportsman like conduct you don't see anyone else throwing a hissy fit or approaching another driver basically saying you drive dirty for not making podium

Uhhh Conrad?

Leo will vouch for this. "JTP is a fuckin crybaby." As he has said on his FB <3

I think he was a little harsh on daigo at PBIR, but I get why he got pissed off, I personally was on his side despite the flamefest I got for claiming it. I also get why Conrad got pissy too, In my opinion, I think at WPB Conrad should have had that win, but whatever.

Apples. Oranges. Pineapples.

For all you know Tyler finally let some aggression out by giving biased propaganda to the press. Which the press seemed bias as well, anyone reading that knows this, you dont need a journalism or Literature degree to see that. As much as people say, oh there he goes again. Dont forget Tyler got fucked last year out of his car. Bias. B.I.A.S And you only heard it from one source, in the literature world, you dont publish something like that short handed in the resources department.

The fact anyone took that article seriously is amusing to me. You have one source when you should have a minimum of two, and of those two they should have no bias.

JTP is one of the more intense, solid drivers out there and seems to have a bad string of dealt hands lately. I remember watching practice at PBIR and he was so fucking consistent and solid, he got shook up and that tension made him cave, along with a baby situation.... The baby situation alone, yeah fuck that.

You can call him what you want, or chime in and call me something too, but that man can drive. If he couldn't, the better person would be in that very very very expensive position doing a much better job. Obviously, Look at Tyler McQuackenbush.

No ones saying he cant Drive but when you lose you lose, don't cry about it. I don't know the full story and I didn't even see the run between Tyler and Justin so I'll just keep it at that and all I seem to see is he can't seem to take a loss. Anyone that is drifting to compete spends way to much money to lose and can't afford to go home empty handed. He's just upset BC he probably felt undefeated in the beginning of the series and got him to hot headed for this year and he wants the championship just as bad as anyone else competing in formula d

JTP is an awesome dude, not a crybaby, and seriously got robbed at this event. I probably would've went over and talked to Tyler if I was in the same situation. Just because I'd want to know what happened with him or his car or whatever caused him to stop abruptly in front of me.

I crashed into Tyler in practice in Long Beach, and immediately went over to apologize, even though it was pretty much his fault for stopping in front of me. I'm sure if there were pictures of me talking to him, it could've been taken out of context as well.

^^ i could understand that. i guess wrecked should know the full and RIGHT story before posting shit anyways
