car doesnt want to drive at all. idles but wont drive. it has a z32 fuel filter and everything else is pretty much stock. im uploading a video right now showing the problems ive been having

its has 12volts going to it and is drawing 4 amps

video wont upload but here is the issue. start car, runs fine. go out and drive within
minutes you give it full throttle it wont go past 6k. make a full stop go wot wont go past 3k. and yes maf is plugged in. i

doesnt make sense. u shut off the car and turn it right back on and it works fine again. hell i could have the clutch engaged shut of the car with it still engage turn the switch to run car comes back on and runs fine again.

Fuel pumps do funny things sometimes before they die. Check your pressure. Make sure you have proper pressure and getting spark. Got to start somewhere.

if you havent done it change the cap and rotor but im betting on your fuel pump

changed the cap when it was cracked like last year. didnt change the rotor cuz i was lazy. but i cleaned the rotor when i did and when everything first started i cleaned the rotor again

i had a problem similar to this a couple months ago wen i was messing with an afc neo, it had like pretty much no tune it was just like wen the afc first fired up and it was connected, so bad tune was my problem. i was shooting like atleast 1ft flames from my exhaust. idk if ur running an afc but if u are i would double check that ur tune didnt get erased or anything got reset

well i found a wire that had part of the insulation missing. i traced it back to wat i believe is the ignition module/transistor. its the black part on the back of the coil. i also found some corrosion in it so i cut out as much as i could and soldered in a new wire. then while i had the harness open i looked for any other exposed wires. couldnt find any so i re-wrapped everything back up. took the car out for a test drive. car runs better but still wont go past 6k without breaking up. and still hick ups a lil around 3k when crusing. taking the car tomorrow to my old high school to check the fuel pressure. oh and on a side note. when u disconnect the maf and have the car running it sounds like a seriously cammed out ka (held throttle down for 2krpms) and smoke pours out the exhaust.

no i am not running an afc. car does shoot some flames though. especially after coming off wot. im also gonna try switching my ecu into a s13 with no known problems. if his car starts acting the same ill know its my ecu

ok so this is what i found today. key on engine off 45psi of fuel pressure. at idle it stayed at 45 but the guage was a little leaky. fsm said fpr is supposed to keep it at 43.3 psi, but when i starting going through some troubleshooting stuff it said it was supposed to be at 35. which one is it?

ok so today i replaced some vaccum hoses and reconnected the vaccum hose from the elbow on the valve cover to the intake. oh and i bypassed the ect for the ecu with the appropriate resistor. car runs a hell of alot better. also found a vaccum leak near the iacv valve. idle wont drop lower than 1500 now. will go up but no lower.

fuck with the iacv or disconnect the bat and reconnect

ive fucked with already, ive turned it back and forth and what not. shot some deep creep in it and nothing. disconnected the battery earlier this week and it didnt do anything really. im just gonna drop the lower mani this weekend and replace the hoses and gaskets if needed.

also found the ground cable at the battery try all rusted up and what not so i just connected a new ground from batt to the i/m. gonna see what it runs like on my way to work tomorrow. but from what i tested earlier today, before the ground cable, i finally have some power under wot
