ka24de wont idle!!!!!!!!!!

ok me n my cuzin did a twin cam swap we got to motor to start finally but it wont idle...it keeps backfiring in the intake n the exhuast...we have to keep using starter fluid to get it to start up..the ecu not throwing no codes or nothing... we thoght it was the timning but it on point..had like 4 different person look @ it....idk wats the problem!!!!!!!!!!! cant any 1 help me
 
we did that. it the same 1 we had on ther old motor...

yea we made sure cl 1 was on TDC....it the 2nd to last mark on the left right?
 
dizzy can get spun or moved even a bit when moving it from motor to motor---or can be reverse timed [it happens].. but if you checked that, check injectors and see if you're getting spark to all cylinders

this brings memories.. also check vacuum lines..
 
the motor we had got the dizzy wasnt in the motor...also se cheak to see if we gettin fuel n spark n we r...but i kinda think it gettin too much fuel...idk
 
yea we made sure cl 1 was on TDC....it the 2nd to last mark on the left right?
you have to look at the cams through the oil cap hole, make sure cam lobes are pointing outward, and yeah iirc its the second to last mark on the main pulley, usually red iirc.

ok my dumb ass cuzin didnt want to listen to me when i told him to move the spark plug wire away from the headers....we found it the headers burned upp wire #4 n it kinda idleing better know...ill give more up dates later
 
check if ur getting full 12volts to iacv
or idle control selinoid
i think its blk/yello at f9 f10 plugs by battery
