Do you get higher compression when you swap out the ka24de for ka24e? How is it possible when the ka24e 9.0:1?

yes you get higher compression.

its cuz you have diff. strokes and rods and crap in each motor and changing certain stuff makes something different

The reason why twin cam motors have more compression is because of the head design. The combustion chambers are very different from single cam to twin cam.

adds an extra 1 in the compression so instead of 9-1 its 10-1 btw if you want an already built high compression motor my engine friend has one already made for what your thinking about

if you want it im sure he'll let it go for cheap just pm me your # and he'll call you
