King of Countyline thank you drivers

Driver
Well what seemed to be a fairly strait forward layout seemed to torment the drivers especially during qualifing runs. Drivers were plagued with car issues and driver error, which unfortunately lead to a local favorite scoring a zero on what looked to be a near flawless run, but to spin in both qualifying runs at the end of the track. Some unfortunate turn of events and some close calls made for an exciting day of drifting.

After a day of watching drivers struggle during qualifing and having only about half the field qualify with points, it was still a blast. All in all it was a great day the drivers gained some much needed practice and we are looking forward to see who will be the next "King of Countyline!"

Results will be posted up in the standing section in a day or so.
Thanks again to all the help as always I couldn't do it with out them.

CHECK IT OUT AND LIKE!!

After a 4 year hiatus this was a great event to come back to. Even though I scored a zero and pretty much spun on every lap it still gave me seat time and now I know what to expect for the next event.

Thank you to all the drivers and especially the staff for bearing with heat / rain. It was great to see everyone out there and can't wait till the next time.

Even though my car seems to have hated me today... and didn't wanna stay together for even 1 run... I still had a decent time and know what to expect for the next event. Thanks staff for a cool event!

Must of been the spray paint.

:( Why did you do that to your car!? It looked nice when it was white lol.

Wasn't spray paint. It was actual primer, sprayed from an actual paint gun.

Also, am getting ready to paint the car. Just hated the white. So decided to primer it already before doing the body work and such.

Got tired of getting confused for Hutch!!!

You aren't hutch? damn.

Due to a loose wastgate selanoid which caused me to loose full boost during practice an forgetting to reattach a vacum line I went str8 into qulifing pushing over 30lbs of boost an nearly blowing my motor cuz the boost controller wasnt effective due to the line. So I adjusted my foot to the gas pedal an could only push it about 1/4 inch until proper boost an just gave it too much an with not being able to properly gauge my foot/throttle feel in the rain I spun on both runs. Once i saw my line was off an hooked it back up I proceeded to tandem with Bert an lay down 6 near perfect lead/chase runs.

Needless to say I wasn't very happy with myself but was enlightned know What I have to fix for the next qulifier. The creek event is the week before so that will be a great test for King of Countyline rd.2.

As always the event was awesome!!! It was great to see everyone an can't wait for the next one.

I had a blast yesterday, had trouble adjusting to brand new tires, but regardless im happy with my performance for only being my 4th event. Thanks to everyone who helped make the event possible, and all those who helped me in the pits lending me zip ties and coilover wrenches. I appreciate it.

It was good to get out there after a long time away from the track and see some familiar faces. As always the event and help did an amazing job throwing another event. That being said the driving was sub-par at best. A few people did good as always but that is to be expected. I think people are so stuck in the skidpad mindset that they can't even fathom what it's like to drive at higher speeds. I've never seen so many people spin, straighten out, or just sand bag the entry causing them to not have nearly enough speed to link the track.

More big track events!! :bigthumbu

Yeah everyone slowed down way too much on entry then struggled to maintain the correct line through the rest of the track. Had a blast hanging out with all you guys I never get to see. Thanks to all the people that worked out there all day.

Thanks to everyone who worked on this event and kept it as organized throughout the day. It was a great learning experience for me. I finally had the chance to use e-brake initiation something I had never really done. By the end of the day it became pretty natural to me. Im anxious for the next one to come already! And like someone said above, MORE Big Track events!:bigthumbu
