knocking motor ka24de

i just replaced the motor in my 93 240sx and i turned it on and it was fine then i drove it around and it was still fine but on the way home from naples the motor starts knocking any idea wat it could be? its a ka24de
 
sucks, did you connect the oil pressure sender switch? (dose the oil pressure light come on when the key is in the ON position but the engine off? and dose it turn off when the engine is running?) You changed the oil and filter before you started driving it right? You drove it normal? proper oil level?
 
check for water in the rad?

my ka lost all the water throug the water pump and when i heard the knock it was too late, and it smoked to death on i95 jajajaja
