Local AE86 makes it to Jalopnik

Awesome car and I love the powerplant, but as everyone as stated it is high up there in price.
 
Just the fact that it's not an ORIGINAL GT-S takes away from the "Mint" factor that the car really only has going for it (aside from the Beans). 10-9k car. FOTM is, it's not a GT-S, only has front no name coilovers, MEGAN stuff, and that UGLY blue interior. Oh and That big brake kit works on more then JUST the TE37, shit they worked on my swastikas. Lots of things that are said to be "rare" or"custom" that are not too. Still a great car tho.

Not You, in this case, it doesn't matter if it's an original GT-S or SR5. If this car was a GT-S, well who cares? It doesn't have the original engine, drivetrain or any of the things that make it an original GT-S, just a VIN number. A GT-S should be valued as such in original condition. Any engine swaps or crazy modifications, it will be valued the same as an SR5 with the same exact mods anyway. It's still the same AE86 chassis. Swapping things out from the GT-S is taking away from what made the car a GT-S in the first place.
