i lost my fuckin car keys for my s13 coupe how can i get another pair of keys??through dealer???what are my choices

I contacted a dealer up here and they said Im sol. Turns out a locksmith will do it for $130 but I heard dealerships are way cheaper if they do it
on the passanger side door, there is a little plug, pop it off, behind it threr will he the lock. there is a # on there its like a 4 digit code. get that and find a competent person to make the key with that code. or there is the sticker in the glove box that usually has the code for the keys. simple to do. my locksmith has to do it for me all the time cuz i suck with putting tags on my keys.

If you can get into the car, your key code might be printed on the inside of your glove box. Mine was printed there as well as on one of the original keys. For Nissans, it would be a number that starts with an "X".

ok found the 4 digit code the lil am was oxidized so i couldnt see it but i cleaned it and i got it now what do u mean by a "competent person" could i take it 2 any locksmith???
