maf relocation

it actually works good if u hold it out the window it reads air flow soo much better ,and it would probly be a good idea to tech screw it to the side of ur car cuz ur arm might get tired

as dumb as that might sound it really works, i ziptied it to the side of my car tho...
 
extend wires and put it where ever the hell you want dont get it wet and dont put it too close to the throttle body

cuz some kids like to come with this questions saying that relocating the maf give the car more hp. lol

def solder them shits or at least use proper connectors i had one wire that kept coming apart. honeslty you asked a retarded question you gave no info on what you needed or wanted to know. Think before you ask next time this is sfldrifters after all LMAO
 
maf relocation is used for track cars so when u hit and pop intercoller piping the car still drives .....its a good idea and ive been debating on it...i hafta cut my cold pipe and im fearing a bad outcome and dont have one to replace it with.... but ive seen alot of jdm cars wit that type of setup
 
not 20 lbs consistantly it spiked to 20 every once and a while, but thats what i get for making an ace hardwear manual boost controller. and that was too soon, too soon

and btw it was awesome

chill son im just messin, i havet relocated a maf before but it doesnt realy sound hard i mean dont u just extend the plug to run wherever u need it to go? and where were u thinking uof putting it?
 
idk i thought on the cold pipe but after thinking about it i think ill be ok, im gunna try and move the dip stick around tmrw.

if not im pretty much sol and id hate to have a shitty running car if i dont relocate it right. :(
 
ye that would suck the dip stick is only held down by one 10mm bolt. u might just hve to unbolt it and make a little custom bracket to come off of the stock bolt down point to move it over and out of the way
