you go to boot camp not knowing what your MOS will be, and depending on the MC needs by the time you are ready to get out of MCT, they pick a job for you... with the OAF coming up, there is a GOOD chance that the "needs" will be some kind of grunt
 
I dont think you qualify for Military Police. I forgot the score though.. Maybe you do, call your recruiter.
 
imma buy a ASVAB book and study and retake the test. I only signed the Medical but I havent signed any contracts so I'm good right
 
^^ Yea, you can retake it like 3 months or so after you took it the first time I think.
 
Going to MEPS tomorrow @0600 (6am) for my physical. On Jan 7th I take my oath and start DEP if i pass my physical
 
^^ You should be doing you oath at MEPS tomm, at least thats how mine was. Couldn't leave until I did.
 
Oh ok, good luck with it all. MEPS SUX its like 6-7hours of boringness. You'll see Marines have the shortest lines though, but still it's so boring.
 
take an iPod or PSP.... boredom is deadly in MEPS... I remember taking like 4 naps, I watched the news for a while, and played 2 games of pool before I was swarn in DEP. GL with your classes.

did you ever re-take the asvab?
 
I just came back from MEPS not too long ago (5am-5-ish pm)!!!! And to the person that said there wasn't gonna be a lot of Marines. WELL THERE WAS A LOT OF MARINES LOL. Marines were like 3/4 the population. Cant wait to take my oath on the 7th. Here's hoping to live in Okinawa one day :bigthumbu
