Michael Essa Not Having A Great Weekend ? Rod Knock Troubles

About 22 hours ago Michael Essa posted on his Facebook “Crap. Truck motor just died. Rod knock. Getting it towed back to the shop now, then load the car and stuff into 2 trucks and trailers and get back on the road..” This makes a bad weekend at Formula Drift without question but now this morning he has updated another bad news post to his Facebook.

He is reporting that the BMW V10 motor has rod knock now after sounding fine when he loaded it up on the trailer earlier this week. We will keep everyone updated on if he will be able to get it fixed by qualifying in a few hours.

it didnt get fixed in time obviously but... at least they finally got it looking a little better.
 
it would have been impossible to drive the enjuku racing s14 without power steering. i run a steering quickener which makes it near impossible to turn the wheel without power steering. but on the upside the new motor is making tons of power and sounds insane. all we need is a little bit of good luck and i'm sure we could give the big guys a run.
