the bigger time attacks are broke into classes, but there is still a over all winner. but its broke down from there, like quickest fr, ff,awd so on and so forth, and those are too broke into restricted, and unlimited classe's. restricted being, like on a dot tire, NO fender flares(yes fender flares owuld set you into unlimited class,idk) things like that. but it still is fastest car wins. the morso one im sure would be setup in maybe a restricted and unlimited class, depending on cage,tire's being used, that deal...idk tho, it looks fun im love'n Fl right now with all the event's of different kinds, i think ill enter this for sure.
btw hope to see some of you guy's at moroso for the practice this weekend!

woops,just noticed you posted link's to redline's rules.good stuff. hopefully ill be doing the eastcoast event there holding. road atl.

Time Attack should only be DOT Tires. Must be street tires. The flares, wide bodies and such that changes things.
 
Right now we will be running 3 classes in Time Attack.
STREET, MODIFIED and UNLIMITED.
STREET AND MODIFIED Vehicles must be registered and insured for use on public roadways. Vehicles entered into Modified Class MUST show proof of current registration and insurance to Moroso Time Attack event registration personnel.

STREET Class is just that. Totally Street Legal. Only mods allowed are Exhaust(Cat Back), Headers, Air intake and Stage 1 engine management upgrades(Chip the Motor).
All Street Class vehicles must use DOT street tires with a UTQG tread wear rating of 140 or higher.
No Fender Flares
No Wide-Body Kits
Front and rear spoilers are allowed if allowed by local traffic laws.
Safety equipment such as roll cages, seats, fire suppression...ect are allowed and encouraged.

MODIFIED Class. Allows the same as STREET Class but with body kits and more engine mods.

UNLIMITED Class are for full blown race cars and exotics.
Use of DOT Legal tires with UTQG tread wear rating of less than 50 permitted for Unlimited Class.

The Full set of rules will be up in the next few days on our website.

this is true, but imo i dont consider them true street tires after 50 treadwear and lower.. but your correct :bigthumbu

i gotta run with the unlimited class :[ shit.
 
Both. Well actually street/drift/ta. No crazy power mods planned though. Just around 300whp should suffice.
