another one of my stupid threads that ask you people who have more expereance with shit than i do. i have a s13 with a KA in it not that it really matters cause they are all the same, but anyways what motor mount should i go with i found nismo (duh) ,cusco, hardrace, and i think that is it. so which you think peeps? thanks again inadvance you guys have been very helpful and i want to get this stuff all done now while im rebuilding mu car so if you are woundering why i have made these threads this is why its cause im rebuilding me car!

i guess im going to have to be a pussy... cause i dont want soild.... damn and i thought that i was going to be a baller with some nicer poly mounts... my orignal mounts are toast!
 
I have polyurethane ($50 worth, makes like 10mounts, 2 jars) Make your own. Ill sell for $20.
 
I have solid made by my friend JT and they are only bad for the first week. After that they aren't to bad, or I'm just use to the rattling. Oh yeah people will ask you whats wrong with your car too. Also if you have a bad cd player don't expect to use it because it'll skip everytime I start in first.

I paid $50 for mine.
 
You just cant beat that instant torque surge you get with solids. Of course u need solid subframe bushings, and solid tranny mount to really get the full jist of it. But Those tires will break free no problems.

haha.... no guys this car cant have soilds im just not going to do it.... though mmm what you said about the girls..hehe.. this thing needs to be nice enough for a daily, and in case i have to take customers out in it that its not so harsh. so i need to get polys im just not sure of the 3 that i mentioned which are going to be good? or are they all the same cause if they are the hardrace ones are the cheapest.

if this was a track car i would have gone soild for sure!

99% of them, loved my car.

amazing how clueless singers, and bands are to what a turbocharger is and the whole scene.

But I'm telling you they loved. Fire it up and their like wow feels like its got some power. Then Spool the turbo a few times, and they've got that shit eating green like you best show me how fast this thing is or ill get u fired type looks!!!

Got my solid subframe bushings waiting to be installed and waiting for JT to finish making a soild tranny mount.

Oh yeah don't worry about the DD thing you get use to it and its always funny when people get in the car and are like why does it sound like that.

PS. I'll see how my girl likes it at 1500rpms.
 
nismo mounts are crap. i got cuscos in mine and i love them. the motor dont move, and the whole car vibrates, plus they never break. definitly a must if you dont want solids.
