...i wont survive on $25,000 US...
It all depends on what kinds of bills you have, how you spend your money and where you live in Japan. If you have alot of college debt and plan on going out and "partying" it can be tight. However if you're the type that prefers to spend your time hanging out and working on cars in your off-time and can avoid the bars you'll be fine. Plus as an English teacher you can easily pad that company salary with private lessons. I've known plenty of teachers who have broken that 40k barrier with privates.
...apts their are small... n hella expensive...
Again it all depends on where you live. If you're in a big city that is absolutely 100 percent correct. You'll live in a tiny shit hole for a ridiculous amount of money. If you get yourself in a smaller town (think 100,000 people) you'll be in a nicer apartment for far cheaper. I've lived in plenty of apartments in Japan and have never paid more than 600 a month. Some of them were nice, new 2 bedrooms.
..if you dont speak nipongo then you get 'cross armed' everywhere...
Not necessarily. But if you don't come off as "humble" you will. I've seen so many foreigners in Japan who don't speak a word of Japanese and they get a cold shoulder because they expect Japanese people to go out of their way to help them and speak English. Some backasswards sense of entitlement.
...driving is hella expensive with those tolls...
If you take the expressway it is. But you have to realize a very import thing about Japan. Tax is like 7%. You pay for what you use. If you use the expressway you pay for it. If some old lady who doesn't have a car doesn't use the expressway she doesn't have to pay for it. You don't have to use the expressway most of the time.
... cities are like times square...
You mean times square on crack.
... all the girls love me...
Some of the boys too.
... its always clean...
Sometimes.
... the technology their rockzors.....
You'd be amazed at how low-tech alot of Japan is.
well if i go...how are the hookers???
Russian.
what if ur an auto technician? is there a possible way to go over there?
Even if you speak fluent Japanese I'd say close to impossible. If you were already in Japan with a work visa and spoke good Japanese it's possible.
