My car needs help

Well, I was driving around today, and all of a sudden I feel a loss of power. It was running on 3 cylinders. I had a mechanic do a compression test, and my 2nd cylinder had no compression. It must be a burnt valve or piston ring. Does anyone know how much any of these things are gonna be? I want to get a 4AGE, but the swap is going to be expensive. So I must have this engine fixxed.

Yea man, I've seen it. Thanx anyways. I'm gonna go fuel injection, cuz a carb setup is too much money right now. I already have an MR2 fuel pump and a 4AGE ECU. So I'm gonna go GT-S all the way. I need a fuel tank which I can find on the auto parts websites for under 200 bux brand new. Thanx a lot guys, you've been a lot of help. carbd 4age, i heard.... sux... its a pain rather... id go fuel injected if i was in the middle of swapping... hey when u swap ur motor, lemme know how u ran ur cooling and fuel system, like what was needed exactly... cuz i was always wondering... i mean, not like im gonna do it soon, cuz thats years in the making for my hachislow....
 
Hey guys, thanx for the help. I found out what it was. It was neither a burnt valve or a burnt piston ring. Amazingly, it was the rocker arm shaft. It broke in 3 pieces! Amzing. The car is running on all 4 cylinders again. Thanks a lot. SFL Drifters are the shizzle.

Its not really that hard if you do your research on the topic. Sourcing something things might be a little pain. You can build nice power with carbs but of course fuel injection is more efficient. Watch the JDM Racers dvd and you see a few carb'd engines doing really well, not just that but dont forget about Hibino's carb'd coupe in D1. You can save the hassle of changing the fuel pump, ecu wiring, etc. But in the end its up to you what you want. I'll be here supporting a fellow 86er anytime with whatever you do :) .

Thank you sir. I just need to see what I have money for, and what is better all around. I mean, this is also going to be a street car. So I gotta look at that too.
