I've never had any luck making a sim game/g25 setup ever feel that realistic for drifting. That looks like a lot of fun :driving:.
 
How much of the game translates to real life? I'm pretty good at drifting in GT5. My wife is pretty good too and she asked me if what she knows about GT5 will help her when I finish building her AE86. I told her not to count on much from the game to port over since it's well, a "game".
 
the most realistic drifting game ive every played that i can compare to my real like experience is GT3. it truly helped me be a better driver on the track
 
That's the game that got my wife hooked on drifting (GT3). It's the main reason she wants to do it for real. I remember that it was a bit easier to drift in GT3 vs GT5 though, or maybe my mind is playing tricks on me?

Grid is the worst game to compair anything to lol it's a he'll of a game and I enjoy doing some crazy early entry and extend some transitions but it's still fake

.. I think drift mania app on my iPhone is more realistic than grid lol

When you turn off ALL the assists it gives you then say that.

Seriously. Its a totally different game when its in manual with no assists.
 
I remember liking GRID, but I played it too long ago to remember how realistic it was. Might have to re-install it and refresh my memory. Then again, cuz I've never actually drifted in real life, how the fuk would I know if it's realistic or not lolz!

240sx hatch with 225 horsepower. Welded diff -3 camber front and -1 camber rear. 2nd stage weight reduction.
coilovers, 12kg front 10kg rear with 80%damper front and 20% damper rear.


steering wheel setup is Logitech g27

Seriously? Alot! has translated over to the real car.
When I took off for the first time, I wasn't afraid because I knew that everything that I'm doing in the game translates to the real car.
And honestly, the game is harder than real life.
