Glad to hear that you are doing this for yourself!
Though I wanted to give you a bit of warning though, I am not sure what type of regiment they have you on, but remember that the most important thing you need to change is your way of thinking about your food intake, and workout regiment.
I have seen people bounce back from some of these "programs" ( like JC for example) because they do all that is in the program says to do to lose weight, but as soon as they are out of it, the fall back into their old habits.
I am personally doing my current weight loss plan by myself, that way if I splurge, I have noone to blame but myself, and that motivates me to curve my fork.
Also you need to remember that, your body cannot metabolize more that an average of 3lbs of pure fat per week, your 400+ LBs were not just fat, its muscle too, and that weights more than fat. I really hope they measure your "fatness" but fat/muscle ratio, not by how much "mass you are losing" BTW your body will lose water weight first, so dont be surprized if you lose all this "weight" at first but then it flattens and u lose less and less/ week. REMEMBER YOU SHOULD REPLACE FAT WITH MUSCLE.
The last thing you need is for you to lose 3lbs of fat and 20lbs of muscle. Then you will end up like my mom with flabby arms cause she went on all these 0- carb BS diets, and yea she lost weight, but she cant lift shit. Since I dont know the diet you are on or how much you work out, my comment is rather open eneded.
Good luck OP, we're all counting on you...
