Ok this is getting me mad. I had the same problem a while ago and 99% of all 240 owners told me to get a new O2 sensor. I did get a new one from Bosch. (20 bux for that shit) and it went away......for a little while. and guess what? its back again:mad: Does anybody know what else triggers that annoying little orange light from hell? I need to fix w/e it is because if its not the O2 sensor then idk wut it is. Some1 plz help

when the check engine light is on ... the computer is giving troubleshootin codes , in that case you connect a scan tool to your car , and the scan tool will tell you the codes

I wasnt even aware of that. where can i get one of those devices? because seriously, its driving me crazy

A girl that speaks car... drool..... :p

anyway... find out what it is first, scan the computer and figure out the code...
The light will also go away if you delete the code or disconnect the battery... until the problem shows up again... :D

lmao i was like " its gona be a honda for sureeeeee" every honda guys headache lol

i didnt even know my 240s had em lol

lol 240s have the craziest check engine lights. i had a 240 that ran perfect and the check engine light was on all the time. then i had one that ran like crap didnt idle right and all sorts of other nonsense....check engine light never came. lol.

also my mazdas check enginelight is always on but thats cus its not the right ecu for the engine.

if its a 240, theres a trick my friend read about getting a paper clip or a wire and connecting it into a special spot in the fuse pannel and the check engine light would flash the code you needed. that how i fixed one of my cars.

or you could NOT blow a fuse, and get the light to flash your code by switching the ECU through it's modes.

Yeah ... please dont mess up with your electrical system ... if it runs good and is just the light that bothers you .... just burn the bulb :)
