ok so i need my car its all i have and its down. my question is at my local salvage yard i cannot find a s13 maf but they have tons of older maximas and from whats ive read they have the n60 maf. i can get on for like 25$ so if i go an get on and the plug and wire it up what will my car run like without tuning i have read some ppl say it runs normal others say they run like shit. i plan on returboing my car in a few months after moneys avalible so it will be needed then but can i use it now on stock tuning ?

ya it will work u have to wire it in right n u have have a afc to make it run right to change the maf settings. if u just wire it str8 to a stock ecu with no afc then it wont work.
 
Why not just get a s13 maf from zilvia or here I'm pretty sure somebody has one

ya ima dual cam s14 motor an ive been looking for a maf on here but everyones so far away an i have no way to get to miami to get one. an ya i was wondering about that when i was at the slvage yard i was looking at the altimas an they look a lil diff an the plugs different do i take the plug too ?
 
if you have the s13 dual cam harness it should plug right in. just take off the one sensor mounted on top of it
