If it's for single or dual and they are the same type of distributor then yeah it's the same. One was probably repalced as a aftermarket/oem type ditributor.

cuz i dunno which i have hitachi or mitsubshi just wanted to know if it mattered

If the mitsubishi and the hitachi are for the single cam. It could have been that the mitsubishi was made as a oem replacement part.
