need help identifying a hard line in my engine bay

i have an sr20det swap in my S13 that i had a shop install and i dont recall if this line was like this before or they did it.
I think its the fuel breather line or something? but can someone tell me where it should be hooked up to or what i should do to it thanks.. see pics for line.. ( its on driver side of car, in the engine bay along the chassis

Thats where the charcoal canister used to be. I believe that is just a breather tube that leads to outside but I may be mistaken.

thats an evap tube. goes straight to the gas tank. cap that fucker.

so it is a breather for the tank?
if i cap it off? the tank wouldnt have a breather?
or does it have another at the rear by the tank?

it should be sealed. with all the stuff gone its just gas fumes that come out of it.

cap it.

dam i'm gonna sound like a real newb.. how u suggest i cap it? i'm thinking takin a pliers and squeezing that thing shut?

yeah i had a rubber hose with a screw capping it off when i had my 240sx
