KA24DE or a CA18DET???

Hi all well here is where I'am At.......... i need to choose from a KA24de thats running in my car or a CA18det......... what should i do i know bout the power gains of a KA on boost :) .... but i dont know what to do/..

KA........... ???
CA18........ ???
 
If you can aquire all the parts you need for the CA then go for it, but KA all the way imo.
 
thats ok i never make sense. lol what i meant was a miata is light and imo it should be more than 1.8 but a 1.8 in an even heavier car is even worse. catch my drift?

the other way i see it, ka can make 250bhp at what 9-10psi safely. ca can make 250bhp at i estimate 13-14psi. if you use the same exact turbo on both that means ka has faster onset of boost/less lag and more torque down low(which is a given). take into consideration you already have the ka running in your car and you can see where im coming from.

and if you dont wanna listen to me at least listen to this dude cuz he got a 28/30 on the mensa practice test!:

thanks all for your answer but pretty much is my boy thats willing to trade HIS ENTIRE running CA18DET WITH INTERCOOLER PIPING APEXI 3.5 exhaust catback, and front mount with motor mounts harness the entire thing for my KA swap that is why Iam asking.... thanks
 
no is that he does not have the money to fix the turbo lol its a gt30r and the exhaust housing blades are shot it wont boost u can use your head to think ON HOW SLOW THIS MOTOR IS WITHOUT BOOST LOL.... but i'am getting everything full swap with 3.5 inch Apexi Cat back World Sport... so should i do it or not??
