need some help picking the right size tires

Looking for input/past experience on tire sizes for 17x8 +8 & 17x9 +15 for a stock body s13.

Current set up is 17x9.5 +15 with 215/45's & 245/40's. So my goal is a similar, but less agressive set-up.

^yeah it does. my main worry is running diffrent aspect ratio (ex. 30 vs 45) and ending up with a wacky look. I think i got lucky running the 40 & 45's.

Deciding what i want to put on my battles i ordered. 17x9.5 +15. Was thinking 215/45 front and 235/45 rear. Yes or no? Tires are either Federals or Falkens but im leaning more towards Feds.

I only will have rolled fenders. If i can fit 225/45 up front without that much camber then i might just do that. How big do you think i could go with just rolled fenders in the back without a lot of camber? 255/45?

haha i know. i had a 255/40/17 on a 12.5 in rim. now that was scary.

i like my 225/45 on a 9.5 rim it gives alot of cushion and a little stretch .....

well it wasnt a stupid stretch that is 1/4 inch away from the edge of the rim and the sidewall is totally absent, but it still wouldnt seal, had to use the lighter fluid technique

to OP: i would run 225/35 all around. but you will prob want to go with 225/40, 45 series are too damn tall unless you are on like shocks/springs and 3" of wheel gap.
