Anyone here know how much harder a 300zx is to maintain than a 240sx?
Pro's/cons?
I might consider buying a targa top, opinions?

z32' are a fucking pita ask mongoose he knows hes slid on for years n/a models arent too bad but the z32 tt sucks to work on the turbos.

i had 2 z32 both n/a both the 2+2....i liked them but definately wouldnt get the tt for drifting...you blow one of them turbos lol might as well get a new motor..plus z32's are kinda heavy..but nothing some carbon fiber and suspension couldnt fix :bigthumbu to each his own dude...good luck

240sx

1. Body kits are every where and you can get them for cheap and they come in so many styles

2. engines and parts are lying around everyones garages and you can get them for cheap

3. 1 in like 4 people know a significant amount about them that could help doing whatever

4. Engine swaps can happen in a day and so can turbo kits

5. They have space for a sports car

6. You can get coil overs for them easy peasey

Z's

1. Body kits have to be bought brand new and they are expensive as hell

2. Parts used are so hard to find unless you have like secret connections and new parts have to be shipped from a place that charges you out the ass

3. Only Z owners know about Z's and how many of those do you know with a badass Z?

4. Engines are bigger and if its the V6 everything fits like a puzzle and its impossible to get your hands around, the inline 6's however are so easy to get your hands around but its huge and hard to find parts for.

5. They don't have a lot of space.

6. Good luck finding coil overs. And when you do find them just remember with that money you could have another 240sx.

7. Turbo stuff is like impossible to find!

im starting to like this chick ;)

lol I am just saying after everything I have been through with my oh so beautiful 280zx its a badass car and I love it BUT its expensive and I should have got a 240sx because I would have had 2x's as much on it

z32s look alot more complicated than z31s.i have a z31 n i could stand in my enginebay with my engine lol.but i took ALOT of crap outa there.and its true not finding alot of stuff for it in the aftermarket world.atleast for the z31.so you beter have a big imagination and a welder if you get one ;D lol

get used to pulling motors to do minor stuff. hope you have small hands too for the no space you have in the engine bay.
