Need the right clutch....

so i just bought a 97k already with the oil return kit already welded in for future boost. my delema is that before i swap it i wanna put a new clutch in while i have the tranny off and out blah blah.....heres the problem...im told a stage three is good for a boosted motor....then i was also told that a stage three is pretty stiff on the clutch pedel. those of you that know me know that my left leg was brokin bad enough to where i have a titanuim rod from my knee to my ankle. hense my limp when i walk. thing is my stick clutch doesnt bother my leg and im affraid to spend money on something that will put toomuch pressure on my leg. im open to yalls suggestions just help me out before i swap my engines!! thanks

a stage 1 will still grab more than stock and not be soooo bad on your knee hope this helps :bigthumbu

well depends on what HP you plan on putting down, but it sounds liek you will need a stage 2 or 3....lmk!!!

thx man....like i said anyone that knows me knows how much pain im in at times....sometimes i have to walk with my cane and that shit sux!!!

p.s. roger you know ill be hunting you down for the best price nagga

ummm get a XTD stage 3 clutch kit from ebay or an Exedy Stage3, I didnt really feel a high difference in pedal pressure from either, IDK about other clutch kits, it all depends on your pressure plate, ACT pro w/e its called is kinda stiff though.

i have an XTD stage 1 clutch with a fidanza flywheel installed.. i just got it installed yesterday actually.. lol it grips like a bitch. i mean its still in the break in period.. but you get the idea. stage 1 should be fine

Rodd, I have a stage 2 XTD Clutch. It grabs like a monster and its very light on pressure. You shouldnt have any problems with your leg. Good luck man.

4puck 6puck full face 3 puck sprung unsprung...stage doesnt reallly tell you much.....

6puck springer with a heavy duty pressure plate. act of course. favorite clutch of all time meng, but they are a bit pricey like 350ish and thats just a disk and a plate.+TOB+pilot bushing.

maybe good for the normal person...but like as my story goes my left leg is injured.....so a real stiff clutch isnt good for me

greddy makes a non clutch sequential shifter kit-you should by that! it will solve driving with any left leg injury non existant.lol!!!!
