So for those that don't know - I updated to a D700. Since it's full frame my 18-200mm from the D300 works on it but crops it down to 6MP, which is fine really for normal day to day things, but I wanted something that was meant for full frame and my 50mm 1.8 wasn't cutting it, 28mm 2.8 is some off brand non-AiS (very old manual focus lens), and I bought a 85mm 1.8 but obviously gives me no range (but I still love it!). So the last piece of my puzzle was getting a zoom lens that gives me decent range. I decided to just get something decent but not amazing for now - and also because I'm pretty much broke/in super debt now lol. So I looked up some reviews on old 35mm AF lenses and looked on eBay and found this 28-85mm F/3.5-4.5 for a decent price so I picked it up. When it came in I noticed it had a switch with M on it. The seller never mentioned anything about a Macro mode on the lens so this was a surprise lol. I haven't had a lens with a Macro setting since I had the Sony and I forgot how much fun it is! So here are some shots I've taken with it.
Cliff Notes: Got a D700, got a new lens with Macro, been messing with it for the past couple days
1) My Crew 2 Live For You
2) 1 Qaz Command
3) The Protector
4) J-Snacks
I know not Macro but this was at 28mm to show you how wide it is.....and it's a pretty awesome sight to see =]
