New to the forum. Moving to Davie at the end of Nov.

Im new to the forum and just wanted to say hello. I am also a newbie to drifting but not to tuning cars. I realy want to start learning. Im originaly from NJ move to Davie because of work. I wast just wondering if there are any weekly meets near by. I am not familiar with the area at all.

I am a rotary man. I own a 93 Rx-7. I just ripped out the motor, and my new one is comming next week (street ported). Here is a list of what is done so far: I have an upgraded single turbo (turbonetics 62-1), upgraded FMIC(a front mount 3 row intercooler which is being fabricated since the motor is out to be a vmount), A Racing Rad, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded injectors(850s & 1600s), EMS(Power FC), Hks external waste gate, GReedy BOV, upgraded LSD, custom 3" exhaust from DP back, and twin oilcoolers. With my new motor and mods i should be afround 450+ range on 15lbs of boost. I also just picked up a Msport body kit which needs to be put on and a set of Gram Lights. Next i will be woorking on suspension and brakes whenever i get a chance. But i dont think i will be practicing drifting with here. I plan on picking up an FC when I am down there

Dude, you got to meet Franz he's another Rotor-head, he goes by ProjectRE on the forums. I'm sure he would like to see that FC.
 
You should also meet Frank (FAL on the forum), hes also a big rotary head. I was on the verge of getting an FD right after I bought my car, but I decided to stay with my car since I am much more proficient with Toyotas. Nonetheless, the FD is still one of my fav cars.
 
Nice another Rx-7, I never get tired of FDs or FCs. Like altezzagirl I have more experience with Toyotas but love to see any RX out there drifting and I might have my jaw drop if I ever see a privateer FD at any drift event. Well, keep us updated and would love to see some pics of your car. Oh yeah and welcome.

yes i would like to see that FD. welcome bro, davie is close to my house not to mention the meets.
