When my rack bushings got loose, I sandwitched in some old main bearings to fill the voids untill my es bushings got to my house. There only like $20 shipped. I have some more main bearings lol

Yea I swapped mine out and the old ones were torn and missing pieces on passenger side, and drivers side was similar. When I pulled out driver side, just unbending it around the rack caused it to break off.

stock 1991 bushings are gone lmao

still can drive after looking at the bank account... gotta save it for road ATL and XDC stuff...

Sounds like the splines on the steering shaft u-joint were loose or stripped. Mine just needed to be tightened down once before.
